Insightful. Well written. I had anticipated an opposite position and was fully prepared to disagree with you, but not only can I not disagree, I really have nothing to add (which seldom happens to me). I especially like the congruency you offer between the issues of capital punishment and abortion. I think Christians at times get caught in a trap when engaging in political conversations, when faced with a counter argument that one shouldn’t be pro capital punishment if one is pro life. All in all, well said.

Thank you for those and pray for me as I try to learn how to use our PC for God’s glory and grace. Believe me when I say those of us who grew up without computers, etc., have a really hard time trying to understand everything they involve. We just got a new computer and will be installing a new flat screen monitor and I am so excited. Maybe, I will be able to learn how easy it is to forward some wonderful information on to others. The object of such a case is not to inflict vengeance but retribution and safeguard society from evildoers.
